Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with the seasoning mixture.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove the skillet from heat and top each chicken breast with shredded cheddar and mozzarella. Add crumbled bacon if desired.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
