  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly shredded cheese for optimal melting.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Use freshly shredded cheese for optimal melting.
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional) Consider turkey bacon for a lower-fat option.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with the seasoning mixture.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Remove the skillet from heat and top each chicken breast with shredded cheddar and mozzarella. Add crumbled bacon if desired.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  4. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
