Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into cubes Opt for organic or free-range for better flavor
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons flour or gluten-free flour
Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter (at room temperature)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup harissa sauce or 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey (preferably local and raw if possible)
Tahini Ranch
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dried chives
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken cubes with smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the chicken and toss again to ensure even coverage.
  4. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the seasoned chicken and spread it out in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  2. For the harissa sauce, in a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, add garlic, harissa, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Season with salt and stir until fully combined and fragrant.
  3. Once baked, toss the chicken in the harissa sauce until each piece is evenly coated.
Tahini Ranch Preparation
  1. Combine tahini, lemon juice, and dried herbs with water to achieve your desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken drizzled with extra harissa sauce, alongside the creamy tahini ranch for dipping.
